Telemetry Ingestion Webhooks & DSN

Route production crash telemetry directly to Ichnois using dedicated project webhooks, drop-in SDK DSNs, or direct HTTP POST requests — no third-party Sentry SaaS account required.

Own telemetry architecture: Ichnois operates its own standalone ingestion perimeter (Server A Edge Gateway). You do not need a commercial Sentry SaaS subscription. Each project generates its own native webhook URL and DSN.

Method 1 (Recommended) · Direct Native Telemetry Webhook

Every microservice project can post crash exceptions directly to Ichnois’s Edge Gateway. The gateway inspects payloads for malicious vectors, sanitizes PII synchronously, and returns a fast HTTP 202 response.

  • Endpoint: POST /api/v1/telemetry/ingest or POST /api/{project_id}/store/
  • Authentication: Pass your project key in the X-Ichnois-Token or Authorization: Bearer <key> header.
  • Guards: Enforces 2.5s read timeout (Slowloris protection), 50KB payload ceiling, and per-IP/project rate limiting.

Method 2 · Drop-in Project DSN (Sentry SDK Compatible)

If your application already uses standard monitoring SDKs (sentry_sdk in Python, @sentry/nextjs in TypeScript, or Go), you can point them directly to your Ichnois project DSN.

Payload extraction: Whether delivered via native webhook or SDK envelope, Ichnois extracts the failing in-app frame, strips container path prefixes (e.g. /app/), and executes deterministic SHA-256 fingerprint deduplication.
